The question of the unknown future and how to confidently reach it is answered by the philosophy; Start with the End in mind.
My darling Adams is having a programme in Benin city from the 30th of May to the 1st of June, 2013. If you’re able to, please attend. You will come away with your mind blown because Adams is a very good speaker with marvellous insight and vision… and no, I’m not biased. 🙂
Here is what it is all about. (The words from here on out are Adams’)
The three things that lie ahead of every one of us are;
1. People – they are our greatest assets.
2. Kingdoms – our Inheritance as sons of God.
3. Eternity – the great beyond and the hope of our calling.
There are 3 basic messages to prepare one for the future. The question of the unknown future and how to confidently reach it is answered by the philosophy; Start with the End in mind. That means the unknown has to be known. So these are the facts of the future.
No matter how much technology and civilization advance even with the advent of AI, humans will always be relevant and be the ones operating or at least programming these machines, so our ability to appreciate humans must be improved upon. We must value people; use THINGS but love people and not the other way around.
Develop your relevance by creative thinking because when machines do all the work, your reputation for being a hard-working person becomes irrelevant. What the world will need then would be people who can think on behalf of the machines. One of the great acts of creative thinking is MEDITATION – the art of thinking without thinking. Here, the human mind depends on silence and revelation.
A research has been done to support this. A German doctor Dr. Ulrich Wagner discovered from research that sleep helps us solve problems that were unsolved the night before. So when you sleep, you don’t think but you always come up with answers. How? By revelation. (It is revelation from God. But not necessarily prophetic revelation. Remember God pours out his rain both on the wicked and the righteous.)
Well, that’s a bit of it, I hope I have managed to pique your interest. 🙂
Go Adams, GO! 🙂
