Hate The Sin, Love The Sinner

The persistent temptation to speak and write my mind without mincing words or punctuation.
The need to NOT be politically correct. The urge to write it as it is, to say it as it is without fear and trembling.
That immense desire to release the dragon that lies unsettled within, to pour out venom, and curse word upon curse word.
To yell, “To hell with you!”

To not care…

To not care about the mumble on facebook or the arguments on twitter. To speak back to raging minds whose only desire is to put others down with their scathing words. To shout them down and hurl insults to the ends of the earth would be oh so easy, so very easy.

Times are changing. Weird things have become acceptable and if you are not accepting of that acceptableness, you are stoned to death with scathing words and unimaginable insults.

Hate the sin, love the sinner.

On the verge of throwing it all away…

But to what end?

I am the image of Him and He cared enough to die for me, for you, for us all – I live to honour that sacrifice.Β So, I choose to care – that no unclean word will depart from my lips and that I will not cause my brother or sister to stumble.

As long as it lies with me, I will be at peace with all men…

Still, don’t test me πŸ˜€
